Windows Media Player (.wmv, .wma, .asf) Streaming Guide


Helix server is capable of streaming to Windows Media Player. However, your media clips must be encoded into either of the following formats:

.wma
.wmv
.asf

Once encoded, upload your clips into the folder named helix_stream/ which is found under your web root (public_html/) folder. Now create a link from your web pages for each clip as follows:

myusername is your main account user ID as e-mailed to you in your account activation e-mail.
