Flash Media Live Encoder saves recorded videos in .F4V format. What is this format?

Flash Media Live Encoder will save broadcasts as .FLV (Flash video) videos when selecting the VP6 video format (which we do not recommend) and .F4V when selecting the H264 video format. .F4V videos are Flash videos encoded using the H264 codec. In order for F4V videos to stream properly you should encode them to MPEG-4 H264 beore uploading. Please refer to the guide below on how to do this:
