There is no audio heard on iOS devices. Works fine on other devices though. Why?

You should be using the AAC audio format whenever possible as Apple does not support any other audio format such as MP3 on iOS versions prior to v7. Even with iOS 7 the AAC audio format is preferred for stability reasons. Unfortunately Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder for Windows does not support the AAC codec natively. You can either purchase the MainConcept AAC FMLE plugin or use a different live encoder such as Open Broadcaste Software (free), XSplit, or Wirecast all of which support the AAC audio codec.
